When I found that Heart, one of my beloved guinea pigs, had breathed her last, I had no idea what to do. I was fighting my tears and grief while I could only remember that pet burials aren’t allowed in Vietnam.
In my grief, I came across Chieu Minh and noted that they had gotten some good reviews. I wasn’t in the right space to shop around for a pet cremation service. I’m so glad I didn’t.
Not only was Hoang really kind and understanding over the call – he was able to make sure that I received just enough information to make the absolute minimum necessary decisions. The team was really kind and understanding, every step of the way. As I struggle with depression, I wasn’t sure that I could cope going with Heart to the crematorium, and they didn’t judge me. They also honoured my request that Heart be cremated with some of her favourite snacks.
To put it really simply, the team made room for my grief, and ensured that Heart received a dignified and beautiful sending off, before making sure that she reached home again in the shortest time possible. In the midst of my family’s grief, they made it easy to focus on the grief and not logistics and pain.
